My recent visit to Zara (actually my first time shopping at Zara) has made me think differently about fast fashion and admittedly, I am a fan. Zara's impression of Fall 2015 designer collections stay true to the original style while keeping a short distance from mimicry. The colors, prints and silhouettes are 'what's now'. With a little designer inspiration and your own interpretation, anyone can re-create Fall's high-end fashion looks from Zara apparel and accessories. Just beyond the front doors was a seventies inspired collection that screamed Gucci Fall 2015 (one of my favorite collections this upcoming season). I also recognized a little Chloé in the clothing and purchased an oversized, shaggy vest similar in concept, but different material than the one seen atop a denim Cholé dress during the Fall show.
And so, another fashion collage to inspire you - seventies fashion is back (not sure it ever left). This seasons seventies inspired collections are retro and modern, feminine and flattering. Flared trousers are literally the most flattering cut on women. Denim and corduroy, shag and sheer will rein favorite materials this Fall. Hue's of pink, gray, dark red and the oh so retro camel are choice colors. Styling notes: flared on the bottom - fitted on top, loose or flared overalls, feminine silk tops, barely-there makeup and easy going hair.
