I'm a little obsessed with Gucci these days. I can't afford any of it, BUT a girl can dream.. This Gucci oversized cotton t-shirt is perfect (available at Mytheresa). There is an adorable fawn print on the front and a floral print with a lady bug on the back. The green Gucci lettering is a nice contrast from the pink. This oversized t-shirt would look great with blue jeans and strappy, high-heel sandals.
Gucci's leaf-brocade lace bomber jacket (available in major department stores and Farfetch) is feminine and sporty. The striped hem, cuffs, baseball collar and chest patch say "I'm a cool girl" and the delicate lace is pretty and refined. Along side the Gucci lettering, the floral, embroidered appliqué chest patch is consistent with the collection. I like the red piping along the shoulder line and green piping down the zipper. The green, white and red stripes and red and green piping represent the Italian flag . There's a lot of detail in this design - LOVE! There are matching flower-lace jogging pants with red and green piping and striped cuffs - SO Erika Girardi.
I'm coveting these Dolce & Gabbana Amore flared jeans (available at Farfetch). I haven't worn flares in years, but love that the trend may be on the way back in. The three shades of blue denim and denim patches with red stitching give these jeans a fun, loving, 70's vibe.
I was just in Nashville and had an amazing time. I had hoped to get cowboy boots, but didn't get a chance to go shopping - probably for the best! When I saw these Fendi pink crocodile-embossed ankle boots (available at Fendi), I was happy that I missed out on the cowboy boots in Nashville. This cowboy bootie design is gorgeous. I'm obsessed with pale pink shades and this color is perfect. The low boot leg is nice, cause I'm short and the heel is the perfect height. I NEED THESE BOOTS..
I just learned that Gucci has a décor collection and I want everything! The collection is fun, glamorous and way outta my budget. There's candles, dishes, folding tables, gorgeous chairs, panel screens and cushions. I have a Toy Poodle named Teddy Bear, so of course I'm coveting this Gucci embroidered needlepoint teddy bear cushion (available at Gucci) - SO CUTE! The misspelt 'Guccy' lettering references hashtags on social media. AND it's pink (well, on one side). This Gucci décor collection is inspiring me.
Yup, another Gucci design on my 'must-have' list. This Gucci Florentia tote bag (available at Farfetch) is perfect for fall/winter travels. The red and black gingham pattern reminds me of the classic hunters flannel shirt. This is labeled a mens tote, but anyone can don this oversized, wool bag. Like many designs in this collection, there's a floral appliqué. The Florentia L'orta Di Giove slogan references Florence and part of the Boboli Gardens of Palazzo Pitti.

If you browse my blog, then you would assume that I already purchased these items (all of them). I can't help myself - by the time I curate an 'I'm Coveting..' list, everything is in my online shopping bag, waiting for me to hit 'complete order'!
I LOVE these Chloé Carlina round sunglasses in silver and powder pink (available at Mytheresa). The braided, fine gold-tone metalwork is delicate and feminine. The frames are round and a bit oversized. The pink gradient lenses are pale and won't protect your eyes from the sun - BUT they look good. I'm a HUGE fan of Chloé sunglasses. The bohemian Chloé attitude is carefree and the variety of 'free spirit' sunglass styles evoke flower child charm.
I had no intention of buying new shoes when I went to Chloé on Madison in New York a few months ago, but you can't argue love at first site. These shoes were meant for me AND they're so comfy. The Chloé River wedge boot (available at Chloé) has a military look, but the corset-inspired lace-up vamp gives a feminine vibe. The laces are leather, so beware - these can stretch and break fairly easily. Pair these wedge boots with a t-shirt dress and the Chloé Roy double clutch handbag.
Yeah, I would go to the ends of the earth to procure a handbag - I had to engage Dutch friends in the Netherlands to get this one. This pink leather micro-bag by Fendi (available at Fendi) is super tiny and embellished with galvanized pearls. I love this Fendi handbag style and am super excited to get my first micro Peekaboo. While it's still on route, I've already made big plans for this tiny Peekaboo handbag.
Each season Fendi brings us new bag accessories - fur pom poms, mini bags (to attach to your bag) and this season, the Fendi Space Monkey (available at Fendi). This little bag accessory dons the signature Fendi print and has a leather headpiece embellished with galvanized pearls. SO CUTE! I put this on my Mother's Day wish list.. I trust my Toy Poodle is gonna come through!
James Smith slides (available at Shop Planet Blue) are simple and chic. The slip-on style comes with a leather or suede vamp and a thin sole. These fit nicely and go great with everything. I have a long road trip this summer and think these will be the perfect slide for those en-route days and site-seeing.
YUP, I have this one too. The Louis Vuitton Hot Springs backpack (available at Louis Vuitton) combines my two favorite LV Vernis leather colors - Amarante and Rose Ballerine. The backpack is small, but spacious inside AND has a pink lining. Backpacks are having a moment this season (especially mini backpacks). I was super lucky to land this bag. I'd seen it on the LV site, but it wasn't available. I casually walked into the Louis Vuitton store in New York some weeks later and there it was! That was a great day, BUT the very reason why I shouldn't visit New York often. I've been selling stuff on eBay ever since, trying to make up for the financial damage I caused!

The functional bucket bag style handbag is having an extended fashion moment these last few seasons. This style has been around a long time, but as of late, is making a big comeback and gracing the arms of models and celebrities. The bucket bag is roomy and depending on the size can carry lots of day-to-night essentials. This style comes in all sizes - XS to XL. The larger styles are perfect for carrying all your airplane essentials. Here's a short list of bucket bag styles for inspiration.
The Roxy denim cage mini bucket bag by Alexander Wang (available at Farfetch) is cute but edgy. The cage is bleached denim, as well as the denim bike chain style attachment that goes over the round top handles for closure.
Mansur Gabriel is often credited for bringing back the bucket bag (this time). The light pink shade of this leather Mansur Gabriel bucket bag (available at Mytheresa) is perfect for Spring/Summer. This bucket bag is small-medium size, has an adjustable strap and leather drawstring. It's simple, functional and chic.
Jil Sander was one of my first designer obsessions. True to the brand, the esthetic remains simple and chic. This Jil Sander white leather bucket tote (available at Farfetch) is medium-sized and can hold lots of stuff. The structured bag has small top handles and inside pockets. LOVE!
I often peruse the Louis Vuitton Vintage selection on Farfetch. I can't afford anything, but a girl can dream. The Louis Vuitton Vintage fringed bucket tote is festival-chic. The small bucket bag is structured and dons the iconic Lous Vuitton print under the multicolored fringe with beads. Are you sitting down? You should - this vintage bag (so, it is preowned) costs $8,948!
The camel shade of this leather bucket bag by Mansur Gabriel (available at Mytheresa) is classic. The vegetable-tanned leather is gorgeous and the interior is the same light pink shade as the light pink style. Mansur Gabriel bags are simple but timeless.
This MIU MIU leather bucket bag (available at NET-A-PORTER) is rectangular shaped, with waved edges. The white leather is hand painted and although MIU MIU styles usually don jewels and embellishment, this classic bag only has a little polished silver hardware - 'MIU MIU'. This bucket bag has no closure and a matching zipped pouch inside.

Bomber jackets seem to never go out of style, but this staple jacket had a major fashion moment in 2017. I noticed a surge in mens bombers last year - no surprise, men and bomber jackets go hand-in-hand. In the 50's, this military style (bomber style) jacket made it's way from, well, men in the military to the streets. Bombers made another comeback in the 90's. In 2018, the rebellious fashion attitude has the bomber momentum going strong again.
The bomber jacket is the perfect season transitioning outerwear. Light-weight jackets and layers are suitable for the in-between season. You can pair the bomber jacket with anything - really! Casual looks, day dresses AND even more elegant looks. The bomber adds a roughness and contrast to the 'all dressed-up and goin' somewhere special look'. This urban style jacket is relaxed and evokes a 'cool' vibe.
This Spring, relaxed fit and oversized bombers with graphic logos across the back are on-trend. Yeah, you can opt for the traditional military green, camo and navy fabrics, or you can add a little intrigue as you're walking away. 'You thought I looked good from the front - wait till I turn around'! Arm patches, appliqués and embellished zipper pull tags make this long-time staple jacket modern again.
This silk Valentino bomber jacket (available at Mytheresa) is everything (really, there's a lot going on here)! I love the pale pink stripe with yellow piping along the shoulders and sleeves. The contrast against the olive green satin is perfect. The black and white ribbed trims are traditional and chic. The color combination is genius. The beaded and embroidered butterfly appliqués on the front, back and sleeves are gorgeous. Truly amazing! This reinvented bomber jacket is my favorite this season.
The collegiate varsity inspired Miu Miu appliquéd satin-shell bomber jacket (available at NET-A-PORTER) is sporty and fun. The red and white bouclé 'M' patch and glass-beaded flamingo add a playful vibe to the muted shades navy and antique-rose. This relaxed fit bomber jacket has snap buttons and ribbed trims.
The eagle appliqué on the back of this Off-White satin varsity jacket (available at Mytheresa) is all biker jacket meets bomber jacket. The snap buttons and black and white ribbed trims give this jacket a sporty vibe, while the eagle and flower reference denotes femininity and freedom.
Another one of my favorites - the Off-White camouflage bomber jacket (available at Mytheresa). I LOVE camo and have seen this print up close - it's vibrant and the high-contrast white logo across the back elevates this design. The slouchy fit feels like you're wearing your guys clothes and the O-ring zipper and durable fabrication are the epitome of the bomber jacket.
From the Thomas Maier Spring 2018 collection - this duchess-satin bomber jacket (available at NET-A-PORTER) is anything but boring. The combination of the gray, camo sleeves, and pink and red striped trims is feminine and fun. The pink flamingo appliqué is cute and girlie. There seems to be many bird references this spring.
P.E Nation is a athletic clothing brand AND this red and blue striped bomber jacket (available at Mytheresa) will definitely elevate your work-out look. It's a bit 'loud', so I'd opt for an all black ensemble underneath. The toggle zip is branded with the P.E Nation logo and the red stripes around the sleeves are giving me a race-car clothing vibe.

Pink and red are 'A MUST' on Valentine's Day. You should sneak hearts and 'love' in there too. I'm a fan of themed gift-giving and Valentine's Day is the one day of the year you can purchase pink everything and it works (I'm a HUGE fan of the color pink). Heres a carefully curated list of Valentine's Day worthy gifts for your special person..
Chloé Poppy heart-shaped sunglasses (available at Mytheresa.com) are the perfect Valentine's Day gift. Chloé is my go-to designer for sunglasses. The high-quality frames and unique designs are retro and embody the spirit of the seventies.
Dolce & Gabbana has a wide selection of 'love' inspired sneaker designs. These D&G appliqué logo heart sneakers are endearing and vibrant. The sneaker addict in your life will 'love' these. Visit Mytheresa.com and Farfetch to peruse the D&G sneaker collection.
These Anya Hindmarch shearling heart-embellished slides (available at Mytheresa.com) are the perfect Valentine's Day gift. Red, fluffy, and cozy says 'I only want the best for you'. The bright red heart against the Bordeaux rabbit fur is perfection.
I have-to-have this pink Acne Studios Clea bomber jacket (available at Mytheresa.com). I love the contrasting yellow zipper against the perfect pale pink-hued fabric. Acne Studios is one of my favorite clothing and accessory brands. This brand is high-quality - the understated pieces add color and style to your wardrobe (at least my wardrobe, cause it's all gray).
Yeah, another pair of love inspired sneakers from Dolce & Gabbana. The glitter 'love' inscription is sweet, while the contrasting pink sole and white leather give these D&G love leather sneakers a cool vibe. This style is selling out everywhere. Visit M'oda 'Operandi - there's only a few sizes left.
The green and pink sequin Guccifica headband is just fun! Everything about the Gucci collections are unique, vibrant and oh so retro. This metallic fibre blend hairband has an adjustable fit and would look great against my black hair - is anyone listening? Hint hint..
This heart-embellished sweater by Wildfox isn't available for purchase anymore, but it inspires me to wear hearts on Valentine's Day. Be fun, go pink and put on some red lipstick.. This sequin heart-embellished sweater is young and festive.
I left the best for last. Everybody wants a Victoria's Secret gift card! For Valentine's Day, opt for a 'love' inspired card. I always say gift cards are the best gift that keeps on giving - you get a gift and then get to go shopping..

Statement sleeves are having a fashion moment. Fashion-forward ladies are doing elongated, oversized, flared, layered and bell or balloon-shaped sleeves. Statement sleeves elevate your look - even paired with simple bottoms, a statement sleeve enhances your fashion-style. AND they look great in a photo (especially hailing taxi or dancing in the street). Movement in fashion attracts attention and makes for an excellent Instagram pic.
I consider myself a fashionable person, and I follow trends intently, but I do sway on the subtle side of each fashion trend. I don't wear loud colors or outrageous shapes, and if the trend is statement sleeves, I'll opt for a muted shade and simple version of the in-the-moment style.
Acne Studios Cleo cotton turtleneck top (available at mytheresa.com) is light-weight, light-hued and has elongated frill cuffs that will hang out of your sweater or jacket. This style is simple with a little 'flare'.
This Fendi fur-embellished cotton blend sweatshirt (available at mytheresa.com) is my favorite bell-sleeve style. Fox and mink fur in the shape of flowers give this sweatshirt a playful vibe. This Fendi sweatshirt would look great with straight bottoms, or silk joggers and heels.
This bell-sleeve cotton top by See by Chloé (available at Farfetch) is feminine and chic. The three-quarter length sleeves are slightly flared, bell-shaped and ruched. This top would look great with flared jeans. See by Chloe clothing styles often have a romantic vibe - I love this brand.
I'm a HUGE sweatpants fan - with sneakers, booties or heels, I can don joggers everyday. This bell-sleeve sweater by Cyclas pairs perfectly with fitted sweatpants and sock-like booties. The two-toned gray sweater is made of silk, mohair and wool. This sweater screams my name, BUT it's sold out everywhere (insert sad face).

My 'I'm Coveting' post this month is my favorite so far. Typically, I'd include unattainable items that make me drool - This month, I chose clothing and accessories from my Christmas wishlist and a few things I recently purchased. I'm still in awe of the Fendi boots and Prada bag (a girls gotta dream).
I purchased this Fenty X Puma rose pink front lace hoodie (was available at Farfetch) for a night out in Vegas. It's called a hoodie, but the oversized style puts this soft, cotton sweater in the sweater dress category. I paired this hoodie with an oversized, pink MIU MIU faux shearling clutch and beige, Rockoko Fendi boots. I looked good! This hoodie is super cozy, and the front lace detail adds to an otherwise basic style. Your accessories will take this from day to dinner to the club.
I love the 'clear lense' trend. These Chloé gold-tone aviator optical glasses are my favorite. I did purchase them, but the frames were warped, so I sent them back. Unfortunately, they're super hard to get now, so I opted for a different Chloé style. Fashion frames with clear, non-prescription lenses are modern and enhance your face. I like the retro style frames, but each person is different - opt for a frame that suits you. The 'geek, hipster' style looks great on everyone. The oversized frames make you look cute and well, 'geeky'.
These boots are AMAZING! I'm a little obsessed with Fendi Rockoko fabric boots (available at Fendi). Each season this style is available in new colors and embellishments. These gray stretch fabric boots are embellished with pink and burgundy tone daisy flowers, have a striped heel, and two 'sock-style' stripes around the shaft. These boots are a statement. Surprisingly, Rockoko boots are super comfy - I can wear them for hours. I'm hoping for a new pair this season (hint hint).
This Off-White down the shoulder shirt (available at Revolve) is grungy, sexy and unique - the sleeves are super-long, with an oversized cuff embellished with round metal-tone buttons. The checkered plaid, slouchy look and tie waist bring the grunge, while the off-the-shoulder style brings the glam. I have this top and LOVE it! This Off-White top is also available in white.
The latest Fenty Puma by Rihanna is inspired by classic school uniforms. The collection is fun, sexy and rich in color. This Fenty Puma by Rihanna trapper hat is on my Christmas wishlist. The elongated flaps look warm and cozy - I'm sure this hat will keep me toasty this winter season.
I mentioned this Prada fur shopper (available at mytheresa.com) a few weeks ago. It's available in white with blue and green pompoms and rose with red pompoms. This shopper is huge and isn't structured, so you can stuff a lot of everything here. I realize white fur is not ideal, but I want it!

The puffer coat has been around a while, but this 80's and 90's staple coat has a new identity in 2017. The original puffer coat style was basic - a quilted coat that has down insulation or synthetic fibers stuffed between the stitching (creating a puffed look). Depending on the fit and quality, the puffer-style coat can keep you super warm during the cold season.
The puffer coat was popular in the 80's and 90's, but then became more synonymous with the slopes and less of a street-style. In recent years, designers have revisited, and completely revamped the puffer coat. From floor-length to cropped, hooded, peplums, loud colors, oversized shapes and asymmetric cuts, the puffer is anything but ordinary these days.
The beige-hued puffer coat by Undercover (available at Mytheresa.com) is one of my favorites. The collar is layered - you can zip it up to keep your neck warm, or let it fall on each shoulder for an oversized-collar look. The technical, ruffled fabric at the hem is a statement, and the combination of beige fabrics are light, and feminine.
This Marques' Almeida puffer coat (available at Farfetch) is one version of the oversized style this season. There are three - waist-length, above-the-knee and a longer version. This one lands in the middle, is super-oversized and has a HUGE down-filled collar. I'm sure this will keep you warm. The asymmetric style dons the signature oversized safety pin (love that).
Stella McCartney was at the forefront of the return of this style. This dark red Stella McCartney double zip padded coat (available at Farfetch) is mid-length and slightly oversized. The 'parka-style' coat has two gold-tone zippers along the front, a hood and is made of luxurious, soft fabric. This deep red-hue is perfect for winter - so rich and warm.
I can see myself wearing this liner padded coat by Rick Owens (available at Farfetch). It's a subtle statement - a long puffer sleeveless style with a funnel neck that will keep you warm. I love vests in the winter. I'm a fan of knits and often sweaters and heavy coats are too warm (and bulky), but vests allow you to layer and layer.. If this puffer vest had a hood, it would be perfect.

Furry footwear has been trending for a while now. From slides to slippers (ones you wear out), to fur-embellished sneakers.. Last year I wore Tibi booties that had a patch of fur along the vamp. Everyone stopped me on the streets to ask where I got my boots. A little fur-embellishment (or faux-fur) changes your look, adds texture, and can elevate an otherwise muted style. I wouldn't wear a loud outfit and attention grabbing furry shoes, but rather similar shades up top and don something fun and furry on your feet.
Gucci fur-embellished Princetown slippers dominate the 'furry-feet' style. Seems like every celebrity and model have a pair of these slippers. This season the Princetown slipper is all-over marino wool in light pink, yellow or fuchsia and pale brown. These slippers are AMAZING! I want them, but am hesitant to wear all-around furry shoes outside - I can just imagine how filthy they would get after one wear. Oh and what if you got unexpectedly caught in the rain! Nevertheless, the Gucci light pink Princetown slipper (available at Farfetch) is on my must-have list.
Valentino Garavani open mink fur-trimmed sneakers (available at Mytheresa.com) are much more subtle, but still make a furry statement. These slip-on sneakers have a pull-tab at the heel and don the signature pyramid-shaped studs amongst the fur. The fur-trim runs from one side of the shoe to the other, completely covering the vamp. I like the red fur, but they're available in many other colors as well.
These Prada embellished shearling slippers (available at Mytheresa.com) are over-the-top and super fun! The brown and white sheep fur has a pale-blue vamp with a crystal-embellished metal strap. Anything else and these would be too much (they kinda already are), BUT I love a statement shoe. These all-around furry sandals are anything but practical.
MIU MIU buckled ballerinas have been reinvented each season for a while now. This nude leather and rabbit fur MIU MIU ballerina style (available at Farfetch) is one of my favorites. The muted shades suit my aesthetic perfectly. The ballerina style is oh so feminine, but the fur insole brings something new to this dated style, and the leather-buckled straps add a little edge.
After describing furry shoes and promoting the furry-feet style, I'm wondering - do your feet excessively sweat in fur shoes? AND imagine sweat coupled with fur - EWW! If and when I have an answer to this question, I'll get back to you..
I love designer clothes and accessories, and even though I can't afford to fill my closet with the items I post on b.a.gorgie, I take inspiration from these styles. Great fashion starts at the top and trickles down until it reaches the masses. Following, mimicking and donning premier designer-inspired styles puts you at the forefront of fashion trends. Let these shoes inspire you, and find a similar style that fits within our budget.

When I was a little girl (way back in the eighties), I wore leggings with stirrups - of course, they're back in style in 2017! Like everything in fashion, trends just spin around and around throughout the years. Once and a while we get something new, but I'm not complaining about the return of stirrups. You can wear this style under over-the-knee boots, with booties, high heels..
Dsquared2 Ski Gaiter Bleached Jeans (available at Farfetch) are distressed, bleached and have adjustable straps (stirrups). These jeans are from the 'Ski' collection - not sure I'd wear denim on the slopes (denim soaks up water like crazy and gets super cold), but if you're an 'I'll be at the lodge' kinda girl, these are your stirrup jeans.
These Gucci Checked Stirrup Trousers (available at Farfetch) are flared - a different take on the 'typical' stirrup pant. These flared pants have a retro vibe. Wrap the stirrup outside your shoe, rather than tuck it inside - it's the new stirrup look.
I mentioned these Saint Laurent Stirrup Denim Leg Warmers (available at mytheresa.com) a few weeks ago. They are amazing. I'm almost always happy to be short and petite, but it's styles like these that make me wish I had some height and longer stems. These go all the way up to your high (high) thigh. LOVE!
Another 'ski' inspired style are these MSGM Stretch Denim Stirrup Jeans (available at Farfetch). These stretchy skinnies don lateral red bands that say "MSGM'. Perfect for a ski trip.
Rag & Bone Oivia High-waisted Stirrup Jeans (available at mytheresa.com) are basic and cool. The light indigo shade and high-waist are as old as the stirrup style. The jeans are loose fitting, and add length to your legs.
These Golden Goose Deluxe Brand Dele Metallic Stirrup Trousers (available at mytheresa.com) are super fun. The metallic purple material makes me think disco. These pants can take you from day to night and look nice paired with pumps. AGAIN, take a modern approach to the stirrup style and wrap the straps outside your shoe.
