Spring is here - aka - 'pedicures are necessary weather'. It's time to let your feet breathe a little, and show off Springs favorite shoes. There are so many styles to choose from this season - it's kinda all over the place. While I usually opt for sneakers, heels are making a comeback on my shoe rack. These are my favorites (so far). The t-strap and nude color of Francesco Russo ankle length sandals (available at FARFETCH) will elongate your legs dramatically. The wide vamp is comfy - in 4" heels, you need that extra support. Pair with skirts or cropped trousers. Fendi stripped cropped trousers, and a loose silk camisole would look amazing with these sandals. These Gianna Meliani flamingo print feather sandals (available at FARFETCH) are EVERYTHING - the printed tie wraps above your ankle to elongate your legs, the flamingo print is fun, feminine and pretty, and the pink feathers - LOVE! These are statement sandals. My favorite shoe this season is Stuart Weitzman's Nudistsong sandal. This style is flattering, feminine and comes in many colors. I purchased the Nudistsong sandal in Azure (pictured). This pale shade of blue will look great on sun-kissed skin. The shoe runs narrow (and I have small feet), so I recommend opting for the 'wide' fit. Yeah, the weather is heating up, but booties are still an essential Spring shoe. These Chloé fringe open toe booties (available at FARFETCH) are sexy and who doesn't love fringe. Pair with high-waisted denim shorts (I'm not talking booty baring shorts), and a simple top (maybe a tee), or a loose, floral print dress. This fringe will sway while you walk..
My ongoing, never-ending wishlist.. I'm still coveting everything pink and nude (it's an obsession). This Spring I want pink, floral, flowing and oversized - Paired with feminine handbags, unique sandals and statement booties. Oh, and I'm collecting sneakers this summer to pair with cute dresses and frayed denim. I'm obsessed with this Stella McCartney Embroidered Lace Dress (available at FARFETCH). It's fun, fresh and definitely makes a statement. Imma break the bank for this one.. Fendi By The Way Tote (available at FARFETCH). Ok, I just purchased a Fendi tote, but I want this one too. The floral detail is feminine and the neutral colors will go with everything. I like the boxy shape and long strap. We'll see.. There's no doubt you will see me wear these Fendi Bow Front Sandals (available at FARFETCH) this summer. I love slides and the bow detail is so cute! The spandex/elastine fabric is super comfy (I have the boots). Fendi Sock Style Boots (available at FARFETCH) are my favorite shoe this summer. I have these boots in Bianco and they're surprisingly comfy. I want the blue and the gray/multi with floral print. These boots elongate my legs dramatically - MUST HAVE! Jacquemus Checkered Shirt with Oversized Cuffs (available at FARFETCH). Button downs are a staple, but the oversized cuffs on this shirt will elevate your look and make a statement. Pair with booties and wear as a dress, or layer long-over-long with statement denim. I have to have this shirt. The Fendi Handkerchief Hem Scallopped Shorts (available at FARFETCH) are so pretty, feminine and unique. I love the Fendi Spring 2017 collection - I want everything..
My on-going, never-ending wish list may be a little outta my reach (and budget), but a girl can dream.. The Chanel Vintage Extra Large Terry Backpack is the perfect travel bag. Large enough to pack the extras that wouldn't fit in your suitcase, it's chic, makes a statement and it's SOLD OUT! That's a good thing, cause I'd be tempted to break the bank for that one. My Tibi Cecil Loafers in navy velvet are on the way. Loafers are a great Fall shoe - This season Tibi loafers are backless or fold at the back, exposing your heel. LOVE! I need a new pair of neutral pumps to go with my endless pile of denim. These Gianvito Rossi Femi pumps are at the top of my 'must have' list (available at FARFETCH). I recently purchased a few Laura Mercier products and love them! I want more.. Special edition Laura Mercier The Iconics boxed gift set has five full-size products and seven deluxe size products. This set is perfect for anyone who wants to dabble in the premium cosmetic brand and enjoy twelve of Laura Mercier's favorite products. I'm a huge fan of blogger Aimee Song (Song of Style) and when I saw her wear these SJYP distressed crop jeans (I'm a distressed denim kinda girl), I HAD TO HAVE! The Eva mohair fabric clutch by MIU MIU (available at mytheresa.com) meets all of my favorite things about a bag - fury, pink, and is large enough to hold my iPhone 6 Plus.
My top six essential Winter styles include a cape, flared denim, fur accessories (shoes, bags, charms...), over-the-knee boots, fringe and a cozy gilet. These on-trend styles will instantly update your winter wardrobe. These green hues were once referred to as army or olive green and mostly used in military-inspired collections or chic safari attire. A new name and applied to all facets of fashion - 'dried herb' hues are a staple for Fall 2015. These earthy tones are neutral and should be paired with similarly warm colors. For a sophisticated look, substitute black and don chic attire in dried herb hues. Wear a sheer green top with tailored pants in a slightly darker shade, or layer dried herb greens atop dark blue and cream - dark blue denim flares, tan shoes, a cream-colored silk blouse and green cape - perfection! Feeling casual, go military-style in a modern way by paring cargo pants and a sheer sweater. Natural colored fur (preferably faux) compliments warm green tones and transforms your look from casual to sophisticated and chic. The micro bag is having a macro moment this season. Just big enough to hold your essentials, these bags make a cute statement. Channel your seventies vibe in this Chloé bag or cuddle up to this miniature furry bag by Fendi. Elevate your look and hang a Fendi micro "peekaboo' bag on the handle of a larger tote - kinda like a bag charm. Love this trend! Oversized capes and ponchos atop over-the-knee boots are the perfect pairings for Fall. Showcased in Fall 2015 runway shows: Chloé, Burberry, Thakoon and more - capes and ponchos look effortlessly chic. Opt for an oversized poncho atop fitted pants and over-the-knee boots, or a shorter hem cape paired with flared pants and a chunky heel. A heavy knitted poncho is an essential layer for Fall, both cozy and on-trend. Over-the-knee boots can be tricky (sometimes garish), but paired with long, oversized knits and tights or fitted pants look classy and chic. If you only try a few trends this season, let it be a cape or poncho and over-the-knee boots. Ok, this first time I saw the skirted trouser trend, I thought it was odd, but this chic look is swiftly growing on me. What changed my mind? These Commes Des Garçons Vintage Skirted Trousers - LOVE! Skirted trousers were seen all over the Spring 2015 runways, but fashion chatter speculated whether we would see it on the streets. Bloggers, celebrities and models made it happen and now a new season is here and the skirted trouser trend has evolved.. Rag & Bone showcased silk dresses and knee length skirts atop tailored pants in the Fall 2015 runway show. This collection shows that layering all-over, both top and bottom is fresh and innovative. Update your pant look and opt for skirted, wrap or apron trousers. Loose fitting pants with material wrapped, tied around your waist and landing just short of your knees or all the way to your hem are casual and cool. An apron or skirt atop your tailored pants are modern, intriguing and attention-getting. Make a fancy statement by wearing a full, ruffled skirt over tailored pants (my favorite). Happy layering.. My recent visit to Zara (actually my first time shopping at Zara) has made me think differently about fast fashion and admittedly, I am a fan. Zara's impression of Fall 2015 designer collections stay true to the original style while keeping a short distance from mimicry. The colors, prints and silhouettes are 'what's now'. With a little designer inspiration and your own interpretation, anyone can re-create Fall's high-end fashion looks from Zara apparel and accessories. Just beyond the front doors was a seventies inspired collection that screamed Gucci Fall 2015 (one of my favorite collections this upcoming season). I also recognized a little Chloé in the clothing and purchased an oversized, shaggy vest similar in concept, but different material than the one seen atop a denim Cholé dress during the Fall show. And so, another fashion collage to inspire you - seventies fashion is back (not sure it ever left). This seasons seventies inspired collections are retro and modern, feminine and flattering. Flared trousers are literally the most flattering cut on women. Denim and corduroy, shag and sheer will rein favorite materials this Fall. Hue's of pink, gray, dark red and the oh so retro camel are choice colors. Styling notes: flared on the bottom - fitted on top, loose or flared overalls, feminine silk tops, barely-there makeup and easy going hair.
