..Toodles 2018

December 30, 2018

..TOODLES 2018. It was a rough one emotionally, but my beauty exploration and fashion addiction survived the madness and remained strong and exciting! I'm heading into 2019 with a new attitude towards health and beauty. My shoe and handbag addiction will probably continue to be ridiculous (by some standards), but 2018 has taught me to make changes, embrace new brands and get creative with my style and makeup.

My biggest obsession is sunglasses. I purchased too many Chloé sunglasses this year! MIU MIU sunnies recently took over my looks, but Chloé reigns supreme on my sunnies shelf.

I just snagged these MIU MIU star embossed sunglasses and Swarovski crystal embellished sunglasses and glasses chain at Holt Renfrew in Toronto. LOVE! I'll be seeing stars in 2019!

My personal style remains the same - chic joggers and sock-style boots with printed t-shirts and sweatshirts. My favorite clothing brands are 3.1 Phillip Lim, Fenty X Puma, Tularosa, GRLFRND, Mother, Spell & The Gypsy Collective, For Love & Lemons, Monrow sweatpants , Karl Lagerfeld and Fiorucci (t-shirts and sweatshirts) and Nation LTD (to name a few).

My infatuation with designer shoes and handbags remains expensive! Louis Vuitton handbags are still taking over my collection. I finally found myself an LV sales representative in New York and she's fabulous. Some LV bags are impossible to get (unless you have a rep). She snagged me a Summer Trunk tote and Time Trunk Alma handbag as soon as they hit the sales floor. She's my handbag fairy!

After a five year hiatus, Gucci has made a comeback in my collection. My husband tracked down a Gucci bag I had been coveting for months and gave it to me for our 10 year anniversary. Best gift a girl could get! AND, of course, I'm still a Chloé girl and LOVE Chloé handbags.

I LOVE BOOTS! I'm still rocking Fendi Rockoko and Yeezy sock-style boots. I purchased too many Adidas sneakers in 2018, got some Chloé boots and a new pair of Fendi fur slides (possibly the best purchase of 2018). I'm looking forward to summer, so I can strut around in my mew Fendi slides.

Another year gone and while I spent most of my time shopping and exploring new beauty products, my go-to brands remain the same. For anti-aging, Neocutis is my favorite. I got a mini fridge for Christmas and am keeping my Neocutis products in there. Applying cold eye and face creams is new to me and I love it! AND, I still love Bobbi Brown Cosmetics Hydrating Face Cream (great for calming rosacea) and Extra Eye Repair Cream.

My favorite make-up brands list has changed a little. Benefit Cosmetics, Too Faced, Dior and beautyblender reign supreme in my Cosmocube. Oh and there's a few KKW Beauty products in there too - love the brushes. My long-time favorites, Bobbi Brown and Laura Mercier are still taking up some real estate in the cube.

I still get IPL (Intense Pulsed Light Treatment) and Clear + Brilliant laser Treatment. These two combined leave my skin looking fresh, vibrant and reduce the appearance of my rosacea. They are painful and expensive, but worth it. I'm also still doing botox. I've had a few botched jobs and am a little turned off, but I think it's about finding the right dermatologist..

My hair is finally back to normal. I suffered from botched hair for two years and it was a struggle. The silver lining is that I tried too many hair care products and shared my thoughts on b.a.gorgie.com. I hope my product reviews helped a few of you. Surprisingly, I introduced a new shampoo and conditioner to the routine in 2018. My long-time favorite Bumble and Bumble Hairdresser's Invisible Oil shampoo and conditioner still have a permanent spot in the shower, but now I'm alternating with Olaplex No. 4 Bond Maintenance shampoo and No. 5 Bond Maintenance conditioner. This stuff is amazing!

I tried Coolsculpting and got "minimal results". Highly disappointing. After waiting four months for maximum results and feeling like I spent too much money and wasted my time, I decided to start working out (there are no shortcuts). I also changed my eating habits. I'm eating healthier and smaller portions. I'm proud to say, I've lost 14 lbs. YUP! It was a slow process (took an entire year)! I have another 6 lbs to go and am hoping to get a MIRROR Home Gym in the 2019. HINT HINT.. I'm also considering the new fat reducing procedure Vanquish. I'll let ya know how it goes.

My favorite body wash and creams are Sol de Janeiro and Aveeno (for those sensitive days). The caramel-pistachio scent of Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum body cream, Brazilian Crush body mist and Brazilian 4 Play moisturizing shower cream-gel are delicious! This cosmetic brand has made a few appearances on the blog and still reigns supreme.

That's my favorite cosmetics, procedures, fashion brands and style diary for 2018. I'm still a cosmetic junkie and am obsessed with shoes and handbags. I have a few trips in 2019 and am already planning my outfits..

The Best of 2018

December 06, 2018

I'm a huge BEAUTYBLENDER fan. I've purchased all but one product in the lineup and have yet to be disappointed. The beautyblender cosmetic sponge is available in two sizes - original and micro.mini. The smaller beautyblender is one-quarter the size of the original and perfect for blending makeup in small areas. The beautyblender is also available in a variety of colors - green, black, blue, nude, white, gray and shades of pink.

The lineup also includes innovative tools and cleansers. Liquid Blendercleanser, Blendercleanser Solid and Instaclean Sponge and Brush Cleansing Spray all do a great job cleaning your cosmetic sponge. I use the solid while traveling - it comes in a plastic case and has a custom grid for drying. The liquid is my favorite. A little goes a long way and the scent is refreshing. The Instaclean Sponge and Brush Cleansing Spray is for quick removal of surface stains, so you get true-to-color application. It's like dry shampoo for your beautyblender.

BEAUTYBLENDER also has Bounce Liquid Whip Long Wear Foundation (haven't tried this one yet), Blender Defender Beautyblender Protective Case (LOVE this - great for travel), Liner.Designer Pro (for perfect eye liner application) and the Power Pocket Puff (a double-sided puff used for powder formulas). I'm awarding BEAUTYBLENDER Outstanding Makeup Tools of 2018.

The Best Eye-Care Award goes to Lumify Redness Relief Eye Drops. These eye drops selectively target redness for whiter, brighter eyes. The unique formulation targets redness, while still allowing oxygen and nutrition to the eye, eliminating the risk of re-bound redness.

This stuff is AMAZING! It starts working within one minute and last for hours. Bausch + Lomb claims it lasts up to 8 hours. It doesn't last that long for me, but I'm sure each person is unique. Albeit, the bottle is small, so you can take it everywhere and apply the drops on an as needed basis. The downside to the small bottle is that it doesn’t last long. Here's where my product hoarding, cosmetic junkie quirk benefits me - after the first application and miraculous transformation, I purchased five bottles (just in case it sells out).

Another amazing anti- redness solution - It Cosmetics Bye Bye Redness Correcting cream. I have 'officially' (nothing I declare is really official) branded this product the 'anti-redness warpaint'. If you have Rosacea or hyper pigmentation, this stuff is going to change your life.

Bye Bye Redness by IT Cosmetics deserves the Bye Bye Redness Award. It's kind of a foundation, primer and cream in one. Bye Bye Redness is thick, has a silky texture and gives you super full-coverage. This product is smooth, goes on like a primer (similar to Colorscience primers), and has a tinge of green (to combat redness). Apply to your cheeks, nose and forehead, and blend outwards. AND little goes a long way.

I know I've exhausted the Sol de Janeiro lineup and posted too many reviews, BUT I'm addicted and had to award the BUM BUM Body Cream and Brazilian Kiss Cupuacu Lip Butter Best Nourishing Products of 2018.

The pistachio-caramel scent of Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream is delicious! The scent is strong, but sweet and intriguing. The cream is super-nourishing and has a slight shimmer that gives your skin a subtle glow.

Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Kiss Cupuacu Lip Butter is one of my favorite lip balms - I have one in my bathroom, one at my computer and one in my handbag! The light, creamy texture is nourishing and the tube is BIG, so it will last a long time. This super-hydrating lip balm is a must have.

I'm a Bumble and Bumble Hairdresser's Invisible Oil super-fan and have tried a ridiculous number of other shampoos and conditioners, but always go back to Bb. Not this time - Olaplex No.4 Bond Maintenance Shampoo and No.5 Bond Maintenance Conditioner have landed a permanent spot in my haircare routine.

The No.4 Bond Maintenance Shampoo and No.5 Bond Maintenance Conditioner have a subtle, delicious coconut citrus scent. The combination of these two haircare products will leave your hair feeling soft and super-nourished. Olaplex, please accept my Superior Haircare Award.

This twist-up, crayon-like Bb. color stick is the perfect root touch-up product and worthy of the Quick Fix Award. I hate when my roots show, and admittedly, I have three grays (that I can see)! I dye my hair every three weeks, so my roots are maintained. I do however have very fine hair, and this color stick is great for filling in sparse areas. Just glide the twist-up pencil along your hair for perfect coverage.

The Beauty From Within Award goes to SkinnyMint Tea. The two-step detox program is comprised of 28 day teas and 14 night teas (for every second night). The creators of SkinnyMint Tea have carefully curated all-natural ingredients that compliment each other. The 'food synergy' is potent.

The Morning Boost contains green tea (the list of green tea benefits goes on and on..), Yurba Mate to curb your appetite and boost your metabolism, Nettle Leaves are a natural diuretic, Dandelion for digestions and Guarana fruit for cleaning. The fruity flavor is light and delicious. I'm addicted!

The Night Cleanse Tea has anti-bloating Ginger Root, Orange Leaves to aid with sleep, Senna Leaves are a natural laxative, Peppermint for digestive and colic relief, Licorice Root as an antacid, Hawthorn Berries for anti-anxiety and the natural laxative Psyllium Husk. Each of these all-natural ingredients have additional benefits. This ingredient combination is super-cleansing.

Kopari Coconut

October 11, 2018

I'm a Kopari fan and had high expectations for the Kopari Coconut Oil Deodorant - I am a little disappointed. There are so many good things about this aluminum and baking soda-free deodorant, but the scent is ruining everything. It's like an attractive man or woman getting on the plane an you're thinking, 'please sit next to me', until you wish they would get stuck in the airplane bathroom, cause their excessive perfume/cologne is giving you a migraine. Too much of any scent isn't good AND the coconut scent of Kopari deodorant is POTENT!

It's not all bad - the texture is nice and glides on easily. It is a little sticky and takes time to dry. It is all natural, so for those folks that wanna keep it super clean (and are not opposed to strong scents), this might work for you.

I use Secret Clear Gel deodorant daily, but when I travel and am cramming all my cosmetics in to two travel-friendly plastic ziplock bags (my husband uses hotel products, so I get his bag), a solid, gel-like deodorant would come in handy. I'm also happy to use a natural deodorant. BUT, this stuff is giving me a headache. Of course you can't smell my body odor, cause I have coconut infused concentrate in my pits!

I mentioned Kopari Coconut Balm a while back and am still a fan. The thick solution is coconut-oil infused and super nourishing. This pure coconut balm contains coconut oil, shea concentrate, aloe vera, beeswax and cocoa seed butter. This salve has anti-aging benefits and hydrating qualities. It goes on nicely, kind of absorbs, but leaves a little sheen on your skin. I wouldn't wear this coconut balm under expensive fabric. The scent is delicious.

Lumify

August 31, 2018

Lumify Redness Relief Eye Drops selectively target redness for whiter, brighter eyes. The unique formulation is currently the only one of its kind available over the counter. Unlike other anti-redness eye drops, Lumify targets redness, while still allowing oxygen and nutrition to the eye, eliminating the risk of rebound redness.

This stuff is AMAZING! It starts working within one minute and lasts for hours. Bausch + Lomb claims it lasts up to 8 hours. It doesn't last that long for me, but I'm sure each person is unique and facing different environmental factors.

I've always wondered why or how celebrities, models.. have such bright, white eyes. I just assumed they were all faking it - there are tons of photo editing apps that allow you to whiten and brighten your eyes digitally. Now I'm thinking they probably have access to products (like this one), to enhance their look that everyday people don't even know about. The secrets out - Lumify eye drops dramatically whiten your eyes for that perfect bright eye look and it's widely available.

I always have red eyes (I think it comes with age) and have used every anti-redness eye drop brand available. Many of them temporarily relieve the dry and itchy sensation, but the anti-redness quality doesn't last long at all. I was shocked at how Lumify transformed my red eyes. This stuff reigns supreme in the anti-redness eye drop department. FDA approved Lumify Redness Relief Eye Drops are a temporary solution to redness that will completely change the appearance of your eyes. I'm addicted to Lumify!

Anti-Cellulite Detox Bundle

May 07, 2018

I LOVE SkinnyMint Teatox.

Each of these all-natural ingredients have additional benefits. This ingredient combination is super-cleansing. You will frequent the bathroom, but feel less bloated and possibly shed a little belly fat.

Of course, you should maintain a healthier diet and exercise for optimal results. SkinnyMint Tea should be used to aid in your weight-loss program and kick-start your new lifestyle. This two-step detox program is famous around the world for a reason - IT WORKS! Visit the SkinnyMint website to see miraculous results, before and after pics and read the always positive reviews.

I purchase these teas regularly and a while back received an anti-cellulite silicone cup in the Anti-Cellulite Detox Bundle. It's hard to believe a little silicone cup could make a difference, but with continuous use and patience, you'll probably see some changes in the appearance of your cellulite-prone areas.

You simply add oil to your skin and massage your problem areas for 5-8 minutes. This can be time consuming. The little cup suctions onto your skin and with back and forth, up and down motions. breaks down fatty deposits and eliminates toxins. This method requires commitment - 3-4 times a week for 6 weeks and once a week thereafter.

I'm not a patient person, but working this anti-cellulite method into my routine was easier than I thought. Luckily, I only have cellulite on my buttocks and on the back of my legs, so 5 minutes a day 3-4 times a week isn't too time consuming. It's only been a few weeks and I do see a slight difference. This DIY anti-cellulite method is easy and inexpensive. I also recommend getting a body oil or oil-based body cream with anti-aging properties and exfoliate your cellulite-prone areas on the off days.

Thanks for the little silicone anti-cellulite cup SkinnyMint! I'm looking forward to more innovative gifts with purchase in the future.

Coconutty

April 16, 2018

During Fall and Winter, I don my signature pistachio and salted caramel scent by Sol de Janeiro. The scent is warm, yummy and anything but floral. In keeping with the spirit of nutty scents, this Spring and summer, I'm loading up on Coconut scented cosmetics and flavored products. I am a HUGE fan of coconut (anything coconut). I LOVE fresh coconut water - I put it in my smoothies or drink it straight up (and maybe with a little rum). The sweet, nutty aroma is alluring and reminds me of the beach.

I've comprised a list of coconut scented and flavored products that you will get you into the summer groove.. and escape from the end of winter, 'please make it stop' blues.

Sephora has a small line-up of coconut infused products, AND they're amazing. Sephora Coconut Water Dry Shampoo and Coconut Dry Conditioner are my favorite in-between washes solution. The dry shampoo smells great, goes on light and doesn't leave a great amount of residue. Often dry shampoo leaves your hair feeling dirty - not this stuff. Sephora Coconut Water Dry Shampoo is probably not as effective as the most dry shampoos, but it does a good job without leaving our hair feeling gross. I use this for a little extra volume after washing my hair. AND the sent is delicious.

Sephora Coconut Dry Conditioner nourishes and repairs your strands. The solution is silky and kind of oily, BUT there's no oily residue and it absorbs nicely. Apply the Coconut Water Dry Shampoo to your roots and Coconut Dry Conditioner from mid-length to ends for more resistant, hydrated, shinier hair.

Sephora Coconut Water Cleaning Wipes are my favorite facial wipe. I wash my face with cleansing oil in the AM and facial soap at night, but these wipes are perfect for refreshing your neck and décolletage in between. I wash my hair every three days, so my ears and hairline don't get scrubbed under my shower cap. These wipes allow me to clean and refresh without wetting my hair. The moist wipes smell fresh and sweet. The solution is non-oily and leaves your skin feeling clean. LOVE!

I've mentioned the Sephora Coconut Water Lip Balm a few times and highly recommend the inexpensive lip treatment. It smells great, the texture is thick but silky and the solution leaves your lips feeling hydrated and protected. I'm a lip balm fanatic (among other things) and this one is in my top five must-have lip balms. Don't be discourage by the cheap'ish' packaging, this product is high-quality.

Coconut scented sunscreen is the epitome of vacation on the beach - unless you opt for the 'doctor recommended' scent-free product, then you just smell like medicated cream (no judgement).  I want to smell like coconuts all summer long. The scent is sweet and feminine. AND research shows that people (especially men) are attracted to sweet scents. Who doesn't love the smell of baked cookies?!

Another great travel product is Kopari Coconut Balm. The thick solution is coconut-oil infused and super nourishing. This pure coconut balm contains coconut oil, shea concentrate, aloe vera, beeswax and cocoa seed butter. This salve has anti-ageing benefits and hydrating qualities. It goes on nicely, kind of absorbs, but leaves a little sheen on your skin. I wouldn't wear this coconut balm under expensive fabric. The scent is delicious - coconut (with an emphasis on the nutty).

Cocofloss Fresh Coconuts flavored floss smells amazing. The soft, waxed coated floss contains coconut oil and coconut fragrance. The floss texture is nice and leaves your teeth feeling clean and refreshed. Cocofloss has three other floss flavors - Delicious Mint, Pure Strawberries and Cara Cara Orange. Fresh Coconuts is my favorite and goes nicely with my HiSmile coconut flavored mouthwash.

This coconut flavored, whitening mouthwash is interesting to say the least - AND, oh so yummy! Squeeze 1/3 of the tube into your mouth and swish. The thick solution becomes thin and oily as you squish it around. The transition is a nice sensation in your mouth. The coconut oil utilizes the method of oil pulling to extract toxins and the Sodium Bicarbonate whitens your teeth. This stuff is amazing!

I love HiSmile whitening products (so does everyone else on social media). This small product line took over Instagram with the no pain or sensitivity whitening system. The LED light and rubber-like mouth tray fit nicely and brighten your smile naturally. I've tried similar whitening systems, but this one reigns supreme.

Benefit Blush Bar

April 09, 2018

Move over Bobbi Brown - Benefit Cosmetics has swiftly become one of my favorite brands. The high-quality makeup comes in fun, feminine packaging AND 'some' of the makeup scents are delicious (others - not so much). Scented makeup may not be for everyone (I'm sensitive to smells), but sometimes a light scent on your face and décolletage is nice. If you are sensitive, this palette is not for you - it stinks (in a perfume stinky kinda way)!

The Blush Bar palette has six full-size bronzers and blushes. Three of which have an embellished imprint - I love that! GALifornia, Gold Rush and Rocketeer are three different, but equally beautiful blush shades. The GALifornia is my favorite. It's the perfect coral shade for summer. Gold Rush is a light neutral shade - a warm golden-nectar blush with a radiant finish. Rockateer is a rose gold cheek powder. Dandelion is a brightening baby-pink blush for the perfect soft, flushed look. AND the Hoola matte bronzer is light, buildable and gives you the perfect sun kissed look.

This palette has everything you need to brighten and bronze your face. The powders blend nicely and the Blush Bar comes with a Benefit Cosmetics signature 'Tips and Tricks' booklet. There is also a signature mini powder brush. I'm not a fan of this brush and prefer to use a different blush brush for each shade. That aside, this blush and bronzer Blush Bar is a perfectly curated powder palette for summer.

Barely There Eye Shadow

March 18, 2018

I'm a no-makeup makeup kinda girl. The first and last time I swayed from my barley there eye makeup routine, I applied blue mascara AND had a severe allergic reaction to the blue dye! Back to my skin-tone eye shadows and black mascara... I love nude eye shadow palettes, but they usually contain darker shades for a smokey look and I rarely go beyond a dark skin-toned eye shadow. All my eye shadow palettes are slowly withering in my Cosmocube. Albeit, I'm still addicted to eye shadow palettes and have too many! I'm more inclined to purchase single eye shadows and create my own perfectly nude palette.

My barley there eye makeup routine consists of seven pink-toned and skin-toned eye shadows, maybe a little sparkle and lots of layers. BUT, first prep + prime is essential. I'm obsessed with eye creams. I use Benefit Cosmetics It's Potent! Eye Cream or Bobbi Brown Cosmetics Hydrating Eye Cream under my concealer and shadows, and Bobbi Brown Extra Eye Repair Cream in the AM - yes, I have a wakeup and refresh skincare routine and then a prep + prime for makeup application routine. For anti-aging, I use Neocutis Lumiére Bio-restoraive Serum Powered by PSP and Neocutis Lumiére Eye Cream with PSP before bed. This stuff is amazing!

The Bobbi Brown Cosmetics Hydrating Eye Cream To Go is compact and the doe-foot applicator is super soft. The hydrating eye cream is light, silky and the perfect under-makeup moisturizer. Your under-eye area feels smooth and refreshed. This 6 ml travel size lip gloss-like tube (limited edition) is convenient and perfect for travel. I prefer this on-the-go applicator over the original Bobbi Brown Cosmetics Hydrating Eye Cream pot.

Primers are essential to an even skin-tone. Yes, your eyelids need a little primer too. Laura Mercier Eye Basics eyelid primer is like foundation for your eyelids. This primer is available in six shades - even a pale blue to brighten your lids. The foundation-like primer is creamy, conceals discoloration and creates the perfect base for eye-makeup. Eyelid primer is a must-have for the perfect nude(ish) look.

Back to my perfectly procured list of barely there shadows. I have to admit, I'm not a huge M.A.C fan, but the pink and skin-tone eye shadow selection is vast. The on-trend shades are gorgeous and the pigmented eye shadows last all day on your lids. I typically start with the lightest shade, apply pink-tone eye shadow to my lids and then two darker shades at the outer corner of my eyelids and in the crease. The final look is subtle, but makes my eyes appear uniform and brighter.

Apply Brulé satin eye shadow all over (up to your brow), Orb satin eye shadow all over (up to your brow), Malt matte eye shadow from the crease to your lashes, Grain satin eye shadow along the crease and blend Arena satin eye shadow from the outer corner and along the crease. Gorgeous! The subtle layers create dimension and elevate your natural, no-makeup makeup look.

I have been a fan of Sephora Collection eye shadows for years. The selection 'was' vast, the eye shadows are inexpensive and the pink-toned shades met my eye-makeup needs. There doesn't seem to be a big selection of the Colorful shadows anymore? Sephora still creates beautiful shadow palettes, but the single eye shadows are becoming obsolete. Bummer, cause I love the Sephora Colorful luster matte shadow in Desert Rose. The light pink shade is perfect for those 'I don't have time for makeup' days.

The Sephora Colorful glitter eye shadow in Walking in the Sand is a similar pink shade but has a little sparkle. I use this eye shadow to highlight the center or inner corner of my lids. This one is on sale at Spehora.com - Imma stock up.

I kinda wish I was aware that Sephora is discontinuing the Colorful eye shadow collection before I included two of my favorites in this list, BUT you can use these shades as a reference.. AND, it takes forever to shoot and edit these photos - Sephora Colorful eye shadows shall remain on my perfectly procured barely there eye makeup list.

Have Your Juice & Eat it Too?

February 21, 2018

I was really intrigued by the concept of 'Green Juice' Gummy Bears by Sugarfina. I'd wouldn't mind squishy 'greens' flavored candy with the added benefit of 'real greens'. I ordered these gummy bears in all three sizes AND had high expectations. These gummy bears weren't exactly what I expected..

Although I was expecting a 'greens' flavored candy, I can understand why that wouldn't work. I'm not a sweets person, but I'm sure those who crave sugar, want sweet - NOT spinach flavored bears. These squishy candies taste like sweet-lime gummy bears. They have apple, lemon, spinach and ginger (even turmeric), but the candy aspect is strong. I had hoped for a 'greens' flavored gummy.

I am a greens juice fanatic. Who has time to eat raw and cooked greens, along with all the other healthy stuff we're suppose to consume in a day? My go-to fruits and veggie juices make maintaining healthy lifestyle little faster and easier. Albeit, I do think spinach/kale flavored gummy bears may have a chance out there.

If you're a candy-craving person, these might a be a 'semi-healthy' solution. There is apple, lemon, spinach concentrate and each serving (11 bears) contains 20% of your daily vitamin A and C. What if you only eat 11 'baby' bears (they're half the size of the momma bears), does that still count as 20% or do you have to eat double.

Hmm.. I wonder why there's mama bears and baby bears? Did dad miss the gummy bear mould fitting? Dear Sugarfina, you're gonna upset few people with the mama and baby thing - maybe you should give dad another chance and allow him a spot in your 'Green Juice' Gummy Bears bottles! I have a baby bear - my Toy Poodle Teddy, looks like a Teddy Bear. I'm the momma, BUT he favors his daddy!

If you or someone in your life loves candy, these are fun, but if you're a salty person (like me) and love greens, these 'Green Juice' Gummy Bears fall short. They taste like every other gummy bear with a hint of citrus. I'm a little disappointed and hope to see 'real' green juice gummies in the candy section soon. I'd go out of my way and spend a small fortune to avoid actually eating real green veggies on the daily!

These little green gummies are available in 7.6 oz, 15.4 oz and a seven day 'cleanse' consisting of seven 1.7 oz bottles. Let's be clear, this is not a cleanse. There's a reason 'Green Juice' is in quotations. Sugarfina does state that these gummy bears are 'inspired' by Pressed Juicery greens juice.

Sugarfina is an amazing candy company. I purchased custom candy boxes for Valentine's Day gifts and they were much appreciated. The candy flavors are unique and you can custom by color, flavors or a theme. This place is my new go-to candy shop.

Have Your Juice & Eat it Too?

I was really intrigued by the concept of 'Green Juice' Gummy Bears by Sugarfina. I'd wouldn't mind squishy 'greens' flavored candy with the added benefit of 'real greens'. I ordered these gummy...

Famed beauty vlogger, Farah Dhukai, is one lucky girl. She's absolutely stunning, is blessed with perfect hair, has a widely successful online presence AND her husband created a small product line as a solution to her beauty needs! This girl gets a lot of hate online - people do love to complain. Albeit, she could be a total bitch off camera, but I think her quirky online personality is endearing. She's funny, her DIY beauty tips are unique and her tutorials are super entertaining. I say f**k em! They're just jealous!

I'm sure you've heard of Farsali Rose Gold Elixir. The facial oil containing tiny bits of 24-karat gold launched in July 2015. The must-have moisturizer became widely popular on social media. Sephora launched Farsali Rose Gold Elixir and Farsali Unicorn Essence on their website in February 2017 - the Rose Gold Elixir sold out in 24 hours. The popular cosmetic brand is slowly expanding, launched Unicorn Tears (now Unicorn Essence) in 2016 and Sephora launched Farsali Jelly Beam this past January. I'd be happy to test drive any product this company releases..

Farsali Unicorn Essence was originally named Unicorn Tears - umm.. kinda sad! Beauty vloggers and bloggers took to Instagram AGAIN, this time dripping Unicorn Essence or Tears down their face. It's a little weird, but intriguing nevertheless. Unicorn drama aside - this skin enhancing, antioxidant serum contains açaí berry, goji berry, elderberry and blueberry. Combined, these extracts contain anti-aging properties and tons of vitamin C.

The water-based formula soaks into your skin nicely, is non-greasy and leaves your skin feeling moisturized. The light solution is a pretty pink with micro sparkles. I guess unicorns cry pink, sparkly tears?! It smells nice too - the light scent is sweet and lingers. I don't love it as much as I do the Rose Gold Elixir, but if you have time for one more step in your routine, this product is delightful.

I was super excited to try the Farsali Jelly Beam Illuminator. This gel-to-powder highlighter is concentrated and LOADED with pigment. If you want a high-shine look, you'll love this stuff. The gel-like formula goes on nicely and quickly turns to powder - I found it a little difficult to blend, but the pale, peachy-pink color and high shine is gorgeous and effective. This is not an everyday kinda highlighter.

Farsali Jelly Beam Illuminator is good, but not enough to replace my go-to highlighter, Benefit Cosmetics Watt's Up! Cream-to-Powder Highlighter. While I'm sure I won't use the FarsaliJelly Beam Illuminator on my face, I will however combine Jelly Beam with my body moisturizer to add a little shimmer to my shoulders, décolletage and legs. Oh, and a little goes a long way.

Farsali Rose Gold Elixir is a facial oil with tiny particles of 24-karat gold floating in it. This beauty oil has forever changed my makeup routine and enhanced my look dramatically. I apply my tinted primer, tinted moisturizer (and maybe foundation). Then I apply 'many' drops of the elixir to my damp beautyblender and gently blend for perfect coverage. I use the same beautyblender (and Farsali Rose Gold Elixir) to blend my concealer, under eye brightener and cream-to-powder highlighter. This 24-karat gold infused beauty oil is amazing.
