Happy birthday girlfriend! This little fashionista is one year old today AND wearing her butterfly outfit. This gorgeous girl is my snuggle partner, lip balm wearing, sassy AF bestie. YES, she loves lip balm - BUT only the expensive one. 
Welcome to the blog Sasquash! This is my squad - just us being us. I had so much fun doing this family photo shoot. Isolating at home - make the best of it, get creative and have fun. Shai and I ALWAYS end up gettin' our groove on (no matter the circumstance). AND, we tried to do the pyramid, but I fell off and took the backdrop with me! 
If you want your dog to wear boots/shoes, you gotta start when they're a puppy. Both Teddy and Grey started wearing socks as soon as I got them. Then came the boots/shoes. They're both super comfortable walking in shoes - This is beneficial during winter or if you live in the city where the streets tend to be dirty. ALSO, as an avid shoe collector, it's fun to purchase shoes for your dogs. I usually put lined winter boots during the cold season, sporty (waterproof) boots when we go camping and sneakers during the summer months. Combined, Teddy and Grey will so surpase the number of shoes I own! 
I love taking holiday photos with the fam. Every year we get a little better at the layout and poses. All of these photos were taken last Christmas. I think it's gonna be hard to beat last years photoshoot, BUT we have two additional family members this year, so I'm so excited to have everyone home for the holidays. I always purchase Christmas attire and accessories for the family photos. Here we're wearing Lazy One Country Stripes matching pajamas for the entire family and dog(s).
Of course we got dolled up for a chic Christmas photoshoot. The second is my favorite. Basic poses are boring, so get creative and KNOW YOUR ANGLES. Teddy is wearing a Canada Pooch Polar Pom Pom hat. Romi is wearing a Red Valentino skirt. Ilan finally got to wear his wooden bowtie. I'm (b.a.gorgie) is wearing a Nation LTD sleeveless top, Nation LTD dress and Kendall + Kylie boots.
Those unintentional pics are always fun. Make sure you capture every moment. Romi and Teddy are fed up with this photoshoot. I called it a wrap a few minutes later.
Action shots make the best photos. Think of little things you can do to create movement in your pics. Look at Ilan's face in the first photo. I think he's channeling his inner Jedi! We had way too much fun (and wine) taking these pics. They may not be "family friendly" photos for the holiday cards, but they're perfect for instagram.
Save your wrapping paper for an after Christmas shot. Throw the paper around, take continuous pics and hope to capture a good photo. Caption it "That's a wrap!" I'm wearing a Moschino Christmas oversized t-shirt, but you can't see it. I'm also wearing Pook Juicy Jumbos slipper socks. These are the best socks EVER! Pook is my go-to "glamping" inspired clothing and accessories . Teddy's exhausted from the Christmas festivities and totally over these photo shoots. He slept through this entire shoot! I hope these Christmas photos inspire you to take fun and unique holiday photos. 
I celebrated my 40th birthday yesterday. It seems like forever to some, but time has gone by so fast - especially the good moments. I don't feel old and thanks to botox, I don't look old either! Yesterday was the perfect 40th birthday celebration. Thank you Teddy for enduring another photo shoot. You're a super star poodle model.
I was not aware of most of these 1980 facts, but in all fairness, I was a baby! I'm a little disapointed in the "famous people born". Was hoping for someone with more depth. I suppose Ryan Gosling is ok - Who doesn't love The Notebook?! I can't believe Post-It Notes were invented in 1980 - I love them! I'm one of those old people that refuses to keep notes on my iPhone and sticks pastel-shades of Post-It Notes everywhere.
My little dog model went to doggy daycare for the first time yesterday. I spent my birthday lunch watching him on the daycare webcam. He sat in the corner and closely observed the regulars. I'm sure he was overwhelmed and hope he gets comfortable at daycare in the near future.. By the time we did this birthday photo shoot, he was exhausted.

My favorite - a Dior box. I LOVE my new kicks. They're a step down from the oversized "dad shoe", but still sporty. These Dior sneakers are super light and super white (wish me luck keeping them that way).
My birthday celebration ended with famous Georgetown Cupcakes - delicious! I could barely eat one, cause they're so sweet. It was great day - Bindass for lunch and cupcakes for dinner.

The holiday season is over and it's time to take the tree down. If it was socially acceptable, I'd keep my tree up and lights on till February! This was a fun photo shoot. I know it looks like Teddy is unhappy, but he's having fun and gets treats for posing. I'm wearing a Moschino Christmas Teddy t-shirt, Danielle Guizio shorts, Dior J'adior bracelets and Pook socks. Now I have to look forward to my birthday, Valentine's Day and the annual NY trip. If only I could skip January and go straight to February. Patients is not one of my strong qualities! 
While 2019 was a great year for me, I'm looking forward to 2020 - My goal is to get out of my comfort zone, travel a little and appreciate myself more. I have so much to be grateful for and am looking forward to spending 2020 in my new home (first time buyer) and enjoying time with family and friends.. This was a fun photo shoot - I purchased the backdrop from Amazon and the glasses from Party City. If you're like me and prefer to stay home on New Years Eve, this is the perfect setup for a celebratory photo shoot. HAPPY NEW YEAR! Take a minute (away from your phone or camera) and enjoy the great moments, be healthy - but indulge once and while, don't be too hard on yourself and try something new - get out of your comfort zone. I wish you all a brilliant 2020..

Here we are again - Getaway House DC. I'm a little obsessed with camping and even though it's cold AF outside, I prefer a few nights in my tiny cabin over city life. Of course, I make sure to get a few camping inspired photo shoots for the blog. Here I'm wearing Chloe glasses, a Victoria's Secret polka dot satin cami and satin striped shorts. I got the fluffy socks at Bed, Bath & Beyond - they're SO comfy. Teddy is wearing Fab Dog red buffalo check pajamas. Teddy has pj's, a cozy vest, rain suit, hoodie and boots. He has his own Away suitcase and packs more than my husband! He's prepared for all weather conditions and various glamping photo shoots. Ask him to pose and he gives you Blue Steel! SIDE NOTE - There's no mirror in the cabin (I KNOW), so I purchased a rechargeable iHome mirror with bluetooth (for music) and LED lighting. Yeah, it's high maintenance, but a necessary glamping tool. I also bring a huge Manfrotto light for perfect lighting inside the cabin. Life of a blogger!
